Hey there, it's your resident illustration and surface pattern designer, Myska. I'd like to showcase to you my brand-new portfolio dedicated to my surface pattern design adventures.
For those unfamiliar with surface pattern design, it's the art (whether traditional or digital) of creating repeating patterns and illustrations that can be applied to fabrics, wallpapers, ceramics, and countless other products through shops like RedBubble, Spoonflower, Society66, and so on.

Up until now, we have mainly published colouring and activity books showcasing the beauty of nature and animals threatened with extinction. Lately, we have wanted to expand our shop to stationery, such as notebooks, pens, calendars, or even tea cups.

My work as an illustrator and creative designer already represents a natural evolution for our creative studio, as I will be blending my distinctively me artistic style to produce patterns, under the artist name the "Snorting Hippo", and that we will be using to expand our stationery shop on this website.
